When an art dealer wanted an 800 square foot, two story addition with 360 degree lake views for his weekend retreat on Candlewood Isle, Connecticut, he turned to Jeffrey Berman Architect.
The design goals were to create a large space for entertaining, protect an art collection and capture the magnificent views overlooking the garden and lake.
The wide expanses of glass maximized views, while retaining a smaller, residential scale for a grand window wall, thus avoiding a curtain wall look. |
